I grew up in Salisbury North Carolina. I was homeschooled until Junior year of high school. I started hiking and camping with my parents when I was a toddler. I have hiked over one-hundred and fifty miles in Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, and visited the coasts of Washington and Oregon. I was able to swim in the hot springs, kayak, camp, hike, go white water rafting, and mountain biking.

I now live in Boone North Carolina and hike every chance I get. I will be studying abroad in Italy this summer and plan to hike as much as possible.
