Although I have hiked all over America I will admit I normally don't have everything planned out. A lot of the hiking trips I have taken are very spontaneous. The only trips I fully planned out were ones I knew would be strenuous. The most spontaneous trip I have ever been on was back in 2016 when I was working in Yellowstone. It was almost midnight when two of my friends and I randomly decided to drive from Grant village, in Wyoming, all the way to Moab Utah. We all wanted an adventure so we packed up and drove through the night. When we arrived we got breakfast at McDonald's and then headed into Arches National Park. Although we had not slept and had been in a car for ten hours we were still able to do three incredible hikes. After we finished up our last hike we went outside the park and found a taco truck for dinner. We then piled back into the car and drove the ten hours back to Grant Village. On a side note, this taco stand is where I discovered the soda brand called Big Sky. This brand has a lot of sugar-free options that still taste incredible. I would highly recommend eating from the random food trucks on your adventures.
This trip is one of my favorites because it was impulsive and made me feel alive. We wanted an adventure and we made it happen. We didn't spend hours planning our every move we just went for it. Planning can be very beneficial and important in certain situations. However, occasionally neglecting order is a great way to feel free.
My audience is anyone who wants to temporarily escape society or just anyone in need of a good adventure. Through this blog, I hope to give advice based on what I have learned through my adventures and inspire people to make time to enjoy nature. I provide insights on some incredible hikes in America. My website offers ideas of where to go for adventure and what I found to be the best hikes from each location I have been to. I love to share my experiences, but also love being shared with. The content for my website is 100% co-created. I learn a lot about the places I go from the people who have been there before me. I like to share what I've learned because it was shared with me. I’ve taken the advice of the people before me and made it into my own experiences which I am now sharing so that others can do the same.
Its great to learn about other peoples adventures and take their advice, but make sure to make the experience your own.
So read the blog, look at the pictures, and ask questions but remember to take it all and make it yours.
I think you have set up a website that really follows and embodies the co-created value that you described. You have had some amazing hiking experiences in some pretty incredible locations so I will definitely be revisiting your website quite a bit to see more of your great adventures.
